Bon Echo Area Residents Against Turbines is a non-profit organization made up of a group of concerned citizens. BEARAT was created to coordinate support for opposing the projects, to consolidate communication for affected stakeholders and, if necessary, to take legal action to prevent the destruction of our natural landscape and communities by industrial wind turbines.

We aim to lobby, protest and educate the public about the hazards of the introduction of industrial wind turbines into the townships of Addington Highlands and North Frontenac and their neighbouring communities.
